Are you in search of the world’s cutest studio for your photography, video, or hosting needs? Golden Child Studio has you covered! Located in the heart of downtown Toronto at 401 Richmond St. W. (Spadina Ave. & Richmond St. W.), this 500 sq. foot studio is
fully equipped with:

  • five coloured backdrops including pure white, black, thunder grey, deep yellow, and carnation pink.

  • convenient pull-down backdrop stand

  • five light stands

  • 3 x glow ez lock parabolic softboxes (48”, 20”, and 12” x 36”)

  • 2 x godox ad200 flash strobes

  • 1 x godox fv150 high speed sync flash led light (continuous or flash)

  • remote triggers for the godox lights compatible with canon, nikon, and sony cameras

  • 1 x neewer 660 rgb led continuous light

  • 1 x translucent, silver, gold, white, and black reflector

In addition to photography and video equipment, the studio is also equipped with:

  • a projector, apple tv, and an hdmi connection

  • high-speed internet

  • 1 x storage locker

  • change room

  • restroom just down the hall

  • sonos speaker

  • a record player with the coolest 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s vinyls you can feast your eyes on

  • coffee maker, coffee, tea, and filtered water

  • refrigerator

  • a couch, coffee table, and two lounge chairs (doubles as a beautiful backdrop)

  • can comfortably accommodate up to 15 people if you’re thinking of hosting this as a workshop, screening, or event space.

Do you offer discounts for non-profits or charities?
Yes, I do! I founded a charity and know that world all too well. Happy to charge $75/hr (hourly) or $400 (full day)

Is your studio accessible?
Unfortunately, it is not.

I noticed the coffee machine. Do you provide coffee?
You know I do! I’ll throw in some tea, sugar, and filtered water as well.

What about parking?
There is parking nearby, but it’ll cost you. This is downtown Toronto, after all.

Is your studio close to public transit?
Absolutely! Closest subway stations are Spadina or Osgoode, or you can take one of many streetcars.

Does your studio have a restroom?
Yup!
